Upright vacuums are better suited for cleaning carpets than typical canister vacuums and take up less space for storage. The vacuum's floating nozzle raises and lowers automatically so that it can clean bare floors and carpets with different pile heights without being adjusted. The nozzle’s edge bristles help remove debris from corners and against walls, and the wrap-around bumper helps prevent damage to furniture. The upright vacuum's handle can be lowered to a flat position to vacuum under furniture and for storage.

This vacuum has a 0.65-horsepower/4 amp motor. The 40-foot power cord enables the vacuum to cover a larger area without changing outlets than vacuums with shorter cords, and the cord-wrap holds the cord for storage.
